Education today requires new approaches that help students better understand the rapidly changing world around them. Pathways Across STEAM and Time (PAST) was created with this vision in mind: to connect history with STEAM disciplines and transform traditional learning into a more interactive, interdisciplinary, and meaningful experience.
The project brings together schools, universities, research institutions, and educational organisations from across Europe to develop innovative methodologies and educational resources for secondary education. By combining history with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, PAST encourages students to explore how past discoveries and historical events continue to shape modern society.
Instead of treating subjects as separate areas of study, the project promotes connections between disciplines through active learning, collaborative activities, digital tools, and immersive educational experiences. Students are encouraged to investigate historical innovations, scientific developments, ethical challenges, and technological progress in a more practical and engaging way.

PAST also supports teachers by providing training opportunities, interdisciplinary methodologies, and ready-to-use educational materials that help create more dynamic classroom environments. Through innovative teaching practices, the project aims to strengthen critical thinking, creativity, digital competences, and problem-solving skills among young learners.
By combining cultural heritage with innovation and technology, PAST contributes to building a more inclusive and future-oriented educational model for European schools.
Stay connected and follow the PAST journey to discover upcoming activities, project developments, and new educational initiatives.
