The PAST project brings together research findings from Lithuania, Poland, Italy, and Serbia to highlight meaningful connections between History and STEAM subjects in secondary education.

Through the analysis of national school curricula and educational practices, the research identifies historical events, scientific discoveries, technological innovations, and cultural developments that offer valuable opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching and learning.

The results presented below include a common research methodology, a comparative analysis of secondary school curricula, and a framework of recommendations featuring 15 selected historical topics: 8 reflecting the unique heritage of participating countries and 7 shared across different educational contexts.

Together, these resources provide a solid foundation for developing innovative teaching approaches and educational materials that connect historical knowledge with scientific and technological progress, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the relationship between past and present.
