The first international partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project PAST – Pathways Across STEAM and Time: Where History Meets STEAM took place on 29–30 January 2026 in Rzeszów, Poland. Hosted by Stowarzyszenie Centrum Wspierania Edukacji i Przedsiębiorczości, the meeting marked the official beginning of an exciting European collaboration focused on innovative and interdisciplinary education.
Partners from Lithuania, Poland, Italy, and Serbia gathered to discuss the project’s goals, planned activities, quality assurance procedures, dissemination strategies, financial management, and the overall implementation plan for the next three years. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the consortium to strengthen cooperation and establish a shared vision for the development of the project results.

As the coordinating organisation, Kauno Stepono Dariaus ir Stasio Girėno gimnazija introduced the project management structure and coordinated discussions related to communication, responsibilities, and strategic planning. Partners were also introduced to the digital project management platform that will support documentation, collaboration, and activity monitoring throughout the project duration.
Running from October 2025 to September 2028, the PAST project aims to bridge traditional history education with modern STEAM approaches by creating meaningful interdisciplinary learning experiences for teachers and students. The project will focus on strengthening teachers’ competences, promoting critical and ethical thinking, and developing innovative educational tools, digital resources, training programmes, and teaching scenarios.
The meeting represented an important first step toward building innovative educational pathways where history, science, technology, creativity, and critical thinking come together to create engaging learning experiences across Europe.
